Ingredients

  • 2 full Romaine heart lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1 slice of bacon
  • 2 slices of roma tomato
  • 2 slices of turkey
  • 2 slices of sweet potato toast

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan on medium heat, cook 1 slice of bacon to your liking. Typically I cook mine for 3-4 minutes on each side, but this will depend on your oven and how crispy you like your bacon.

  2. In a small bowl, remove the meat of the avocado and mash with a fork. Set aside.

  3. Take one slice of romaine heart lettuce and cut in half. Then stack the two half pieces on top of each other. Next, place the two slices of turkey on top of the lettuce. Then spread out the avocado mash, and add the cooked bacon and tomatoes. Lastly, top with sweet potato toast. You can see how to make sweet potato toast {here}.

  4. With the remaining piece of romaine lettuce, once again cut in half and stack on top of one another to close your BLT. Bon app├ętit!
